15 Weeks - Ultrasound

Here is our little Kiddo!!!

Here he is waving his hand at us and scratching his head. The Ultrasound tech was able to count all the fingers on his hands and told us that an open hand is a very good sign for a healthy baby. Apparently, Down-syndrome babies have closed hands most of  the time.

He moved around a lot!

You can see his back bone in this picture! It was so neat to see.

Listening to his heartbeat ...

His Little Foot!

We measured his body at a little less than 4 inches from head to butt.

Then came the 3D pics .... I think these would look better when the baby is older, but we didn't know that at the time. He is pretty much curled up next to the Placenta most of the time. He laid against it like it was his pillow and we couldn't poke him enough to get him to move. Silly boy. :)

The best part of this week was seeing our baby come alive. :) This ultrasound lasted almost 30 minutes and our baby was so active during that time. Also, that was the first day I ever felt him move and now I feel him almost every day and often several times a day. He feels my life with laughter now as he kicks me and flips around inside of me. I love him so much. I can't wait for the 20 week ultrasound so I can watch him again. Thank you, Lord, for this precious life.

Can Isaac feel him move yet? Every time I would call Elisha over to feel she would stop moving:).
